sing the AIU Library, please answer the following questions and complete the requirements to write your paper of 3–4 pages.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STUDENTS: You are an AIU Graduate and the graduation date came so fast that you simply did not believe it when the date finally arrived. You remember when your first professor in your first Criminal Justice Class told you to figure out your graduation date and write it down to post it to your mirror or refrigerator or some other routinely seen place. The professor told you to remember that fantastically proud feeling you will have when you walk across that gradation stage to get your degree and to let that feeling be inspiration for everything else you do in life. So you did write it down and you did not do anything during your academic career to delay your graduation date, because your professor told you that your graduation date will arrive no matter what you do. On that graduation date, you will either be happy and so very proud, because you achieved your goal of graduating or you will feel mad and sad because you dropped out and did not finish the course, which would have resulted in that special feeling. At that time when the professor told you to do this act, the Professor instructed you to make a promise to yourself and to your family members to be happy on that graduation date and to work hard to keep that promise to yourself and your family. You remember on your graduation date how proud you were and how proud your family was of you, because everyone knew it was your special day and you had worked so hard to achieve your goal of graduating to provide a better life for you and your family. So calculate your graduation date, write it down now and post it where you will see it every day. Then make that promise to yourself and every family member to do everything you can to accomplish the goal of graduating on your…...

...running team B. We had a meeting about getting more work to do. My boss hired 3 more people for now. He put me in charge of who was getting the workers and giving out the work load. This is what I said I will take one new hire , you take can take two. Then we will split the work load. My co worker said no that’s not fair. Then ran to the boss telling him I was putting the entire work load on him. I was not clear to him about what I was saying. I was not giving him more work; the work load was going to be 50 to 50, with or without the extra help. 6. How could this misunderstanding have been avoided? Should have said this is the work load, we are getting new workers I will take one and you will have two, and we will still have the same work load. 1. Who was the Sender? Hotel guest 2. Who was the receiver? Myself 3. What was the message? No one cleaned there room today. 4. What channel was used to send the message? Face to face 5. What was the misunderstanding that occurred? The guest did not understand way there room was not cleaned up. The rule is if you put the keep it green tag on your bed we just take out the trash and put in new towels. The keep it green saves energy plus cost. You keep the same bedding and we spot clean, also if there is any belonging on the bed we will not make it up anyway. The guest was very upset because no one told her about this. She said we are not clear about this when people check in. I made the mistake......

...pretty much on par. I knew I had facts and figures to learn, but obviously I operated on a similar level. But then I turned 10, and I could plainly see how much sophistication I lacked when I was only 6. I’ll skip the montage, you get it, this is an ongoing process. But think about this. Now that you’re an adult, when is the last time you can remember being young and dumb? What is the oldest you can remember being, when you were a categorically different person? I remember turning 18, and I’m talking to this girl online for a couple months, and fast forward a year and I’ve eloped with her. That was dumb. I’m 21, I’m spending a lot of my week as an officer in this “business fraternity” at my third tier business school because I have this vague idea that it’s a “great networking opportunity,” whatever the fuck that means. That was pretty dumb. It gets fuzzier at that point. As an adult you have fewer growth experiences than you do as a child, so it takes longer. The gap between now and when you were young and dumb gets longer and longer. That’s a bad thing. I have a theory that you should strive to keep that gap as short as possible. Every year you should look back and think about what a dumbass you were a year ago. That way, you know you’re growing. To phrase it another way, if you look back and don’t see how much of a dumbass you were a year ago, then you’re still the same dumbass from a year ago. 2. The perception of time passing is controlled by......

...this thesis will be the matter of the choice of target group. The first analysis will be done according to the Minerva model on the basis of a questionnaire conducted. The Minerva model divides people into 5 different lifestyle segments based on their values and each of these segments is designated a colour; blue, green, rose, violet and the grey segment in the middle. Furthermore the model consists of a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. By using the Minerva model it will be established that it is difficult to place the target customers of respectively the landline telephone and the mobile telephone due to the fact that the model does not provide an opportunity to blend two or more of the coloured segments. The Mosaic model will be used to provide another possibility to determine the target customers of respectively the landline telephone and the mobile telephone. It is based on geodemographic values i.e. it combines the study of people with where they live. In this thesis the results of the model will, as the Minerva model, be based on the questionnaire conducted. On the basis of the descriptions and the responses it will be concluded that the mobile telephone tends to be preferred by people living in the centre of Aarhus whereas the landline telephone tends to be preferred by people living in a suburb of Aarhus. With the theoretical explanation and the analysis’ a framework of exemplifying how market segmentation can determine the right target customers, in this case......

Reflection About Home for the Aged People

...MONICA RAE C. USON MK2A Old age is a time when we need the love and care of our loved ones most. However, in our country some old people are put in homes for the aged and are conveniently forgotten by their children. While the government has built special homes for the elderly and provides them the care they need, but it is no substitute for one's own home. That’s why when I first step inside the Luwalhati ng Maynila Home for the Aged and saw those old people; I didn’t know what I would feel. I didn’t know if I would feel happy because that would be my first time going to a home for the aged people or would feel pity for them because their loved ones just left them there thinking that they are just a burden to their family. When we were asked to approach an elderly to talk and hear their sentiments in life, I felt an urge to cry. But I held it up and thought that I needed to be strong. They’ve talked about their life to us and how they’ve ended up in Luwalhati. Their stories were full of emotions. Sadness, happiness, anger, pain, I didn’t know how they’ve coped with all of it but I thought that maybe, they just got used to it. I felt their longing for love, love that was never given to them by their children. Old people won’t have much memory to remember things. Their thinking becomes different and may not be able to adjust to younger generation. The loss of their strength pushes back to take more rest than work. They need more care and love and that they always......

How I Feel About People Who Copy My Concepts, Ideas, and Even Content

...How I feel about people who copy my concepts, ideas, and even content How do you feel when people copy your ideas, concepts, and content? I know this question evokes mixed reactions. For instance, some people are proud to have their intellectual information copied even though such copying does not credit them. Such people are proud because they like helping people. On the other hand, there are those that are extremely jealous when people copy their ideas, concepts, and contents. To be honest with you, I happen to be in this category. I hate it when people copy my intellectual ideas without seeking my consent. I consider copying my intellectual property as theft. I never come to terms with whatever reason a person can claim for copying my work. I detest when people copy my ideas, concepts and content such that if I were the jury in a suit against them, I consider hanging as the most appropriate judgment. I hate people who copy my intellectual ideas and concepts because they put your ideas as if they are the original people behind the idea. These people who nothing else than to copy paste kill my morale. They kill my enthusiasm to generate new ideas because I know they will copy any new idea I develop and they will not mind passing credit where it is due. However, coming up with new ideas is what I do best. I generate new ideas by default and it is only a matter of time before I come up with a way of catching these thieves. Once is find my ideas copied, I wonder when will......

Apartheid and How It Affected People. Critics About Nadine Gordimer's What Were You Dreaming

...Gordimer Apartheid and how it affected people As history moves on, in different countries and even whole continents, movements and regimes have been formed where groups of people take the power so that they can abuse, denigrate, ignore and even disparage and underestimate other people base on the colour of their skin or their religion. One of these systems of government, and probably one of the most influential of modern times, was the Apartheid which ruled over South Africa since 1948 to 1994. “a system of racial segregation in South Africa enforced through legislation by the National Party (NP), the governing party from 1948 to 1994”2 Although Apartheid was legally established from 1948, the racism in South Africa has its roots since the twentieth century as the Dutch descendants initiated racial separation as an idea for the country’s development. When Apartheid started being applied as a law, racial segregation and abuse had its boom because black, Indian, Arabic and coloured population lost their right to participate in elections and to take charge of public office jobs, all these places were occupied by the whites, who represented only the 21% of the entire South African population. This way the white people was responsible of leaving the highest percentage of people unrepresented in the Parliament and also unable to speak up for the injustice they lived in. As the Parliament applied more and more laws, coloured and black people were being less represented and......

I Spent the Summer Talking to 8,000 People About Money, and Here Are the 11 Best Pieces of Financial Advice

...world in 2012, I realized I was able to live my dream lifestyle because I understood and improved my relationship with money. I used the term "money mindfulness," which means being in the moment and fully aware of all the facts — financially and emotionally — to make better financial decisions. I've learned the importance of applying financial knowledge to help live your dream lifestyle. I wanted to share this with the world — or at least, this summer, with the US. My team of four participated in panel discussions; explored large cities and small towns; spoke with people at festivals and local coffee shops; and held events at churches, restaurants, barbecue joints, bars, colleges, and credit-union locations. I had a mission, and that was to motivate and break the social taboo around money. I began that conversation by sharing these 11 money lessons with over 8,000 people. 1. Take advice from people who are living the life you want to live. 2. Have a lifestyle goal, not just a financial goal. 3. Be mindful of the financial conversations you're having and not having. 4. Wealth isn't measured by how much you spend, but by how much you've saved. 5. Beware of lifestyle inflation. 6. Live your dreams, not someone else's. 7. The purchase of goods and experiences are the same. 8. Cutting expenses is more powerful than increasing income. 9. Prioritize debt repayment. 10. Credit isn't the problem. 11. Money does buy happiness....

...Weight Gain and Psychological Health Surprisingly weight gain and psychological health are related. Studies have shown that the more people who become stressed and depressed all the time become obese rather than the people who are not always stressed. "The study of more than 9,000 adults found that mood and anxiety disorders including depression were about 25 percent more common in the obese people studied than in the non-obese. (“Archives of General Psychiatry”, 2006) " Weight gain is very much influenced by stress and sleep. First, I am going to talk about how stress leads to weight gain. People who are stressed a lot are more likely to become depressed. People wanted to know why depression and obesity were closely related. When people are stressed, they tend to increase their eating habits and decrease their physical activity. People also wanted to know which came first: obesity or depression. Researchers studied this and said “there are very plausible reasons why depression could increase the risk for obesity and very plausible reasons why obesity could increase the risk for depression, (Boyles, 2009)” he says. “I think it is likely that both of these things are happening. (Boyles, 2009)” The key is to seek help when you think you are becoming depressed so you don’t end up becoming obese, and vice versa. Next, I am going to talk about how little or too much sleep leads to weight gain. Sleep and stress are also commonly related. If you get little sleep, then you......

About People

...We live in a world that, although it has borders, it is limitless. People can travel anywhere, see anything, experience every feeling that ever existed, but we are not satisfied. We try to impose borders on ourselves, we fight today to be recognized as not belonging to “their community”, to be labeled as part of a smaller group. We fight today to impose limits to a world in which yesterday people have fought so that it didn`t have any. And we applauded them. We live in a world that, finally, recognizes all religions and beliefs and in which any person can choose his/her religion. People can worship any god, can praise the energy of nature that inspire them without feeling threatened or scared. It is the first time in history when people are not blamed for their beliefs. And we fought for this. But we now try to take this away from the people. We engage in holy wars or public mockery campaigns against the religions that we don`t understand. We shut our minds from knowing more about the people around us, their thoughts and beliefs. And we blame them for being different. We live in a world that is capable of printing out tridimensional copies of almost any object. But, in the same world, 870 million people go to bed each night hungry. We live in a world torn between technological progress and human regress where we move forward just through our inventions, but not through our understanding of each other. We prefer today to invest in research for new Smartphones or the cure...

Sometimes Our View of People Changed When We Know New Information About He

...a nickname "what things" (a homonym of his name in Chinese). Because I worked on the same floor with him, I met him often. He always looked lonely and unhappy. Maybe because he was lonely, he often worked overtime. He never went out with us or walked with any colleagues. We thought he deserves the loneliness because he left his hometown and came to work in China. But one day, there was an incident that changed my view on "what things". It was at noon, I was going out to eat with colleagues and we met him in the elevator. Because it was lunch time, the elevator was overcrowded as usual. When the elevator stopped at the main floor, there were a lot of people waiting outside to go up. As we hurried out of the door, I saw “what things” was standing by the door with his finger pressing on the button. When all the people went out, he still remained the same posture. I thought he was going to the garage downstairs but then I discovered that the elevator was ready to rise. I was so curious that I looked what in the end he wanted to do. “Does he forget something; ready to return to the office? What an idiot.” I talked to myself. I saw that he waited until the last person went into the elevator. Then, "what things" loosed his finger and dragged out of the elevator with his tired and motionless face. Suddenly, my colleagues and I looked at each other. Since then we call him Satoshi....
