Education has been set to improve throughout the study of child’s development which is significantly influenced by principles and techniques drawn from the psychology of learning. The social learning theory by the theorist Bandura Albert recognises the fundamental importance of one’s ability to symbolise, imagine, irritate, ferret out cause and affect relationships and to anticipate of outcomes of one’s behaviour, it is as much cognitive as behaviourist and this should be considered by teachers to anticipate learning outcomes from the existing surrounding linked to human or pupils’ mind.

Zindi, Peresuh and Mpofu (1992:29) defines learning as generally “a relatively, permanent change in behaviour that results from and individual’s interaction with the environment”. Mwamwenda (2002:203) expresses social learning is also referred to as, “observational/model or imitation learning”. Zindi et al (1972) elaborates a learning theory as a set of interrelated principles that present a systematic view of learning based on empirical relation among variables. Collectively a social learning theory explains how a learner change behaviour through observing and imitating models in which one socially interacts with, as retrieved from (wwww.thefreedictionary.com), a tenet refers to opinions, doctrines or principles held as being true by a person or organisation.

Bandura elaborates in his theory that pupils learn by observing models which are participants. The learner draws his or her attention to the acts of the models. Lefrahcoise (1994) explains that such modelling can be inspired by live and symbolic models. ...Behavior Change Project My health goal was to change my eating habits. I chose this goal because I have a bad habit of not eating as well as I should. Although I usually do not eat fast food, I eat a lot of carbs. I was raised in an Italian family so macaroni and pizza are my two worst enemies. I also learned that the milk in the grocery store is full of hormones and other toxins. Therefore I decided that it would probably be a good idea to stop drinking milk. Another bad eating habit that I have is that I eat a lot of carbohydrates, especially in the form of macaroni. Since I come from a very Italian family, macaroni has always been a staple of my diet. The current length of time for each shift could be reduced so that it causes less stress on the individuals. People can work strong for a time, but once they reach fatigue, they begin to make more mistakes and they’re more irritable. By implementing a few of the changes mentioned, Treadway Tire will see an increase in the morale of the employees and a better relationship with the unions. In addition, the stress on the foreman and supervisors will be reduced. With the reduced stress, the company will see less turnover and higher production. To begin with I wanted to understand where this behaviour was stemming from, so I approached the child's parents in private to discuss my concerns. Initially the parents were not receptive of the fact that their child was in need of additional support and informed me that they were not concerned with their child's behaviour.
