Statement of the Problem: This study will be conducted to identify the effects of you tube sites on the behavior of the selected HNU college students. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the profile of the users in terms of: a. Gender b. Age 2. Among the respondent, how many are users and non users of YouTube site. 3. What are commonly viewed videos by the respondents? 4. What are the positive and negative effects of YouTube sites on college users? 5. Is there a significant difference on the behavior of the users and non-users of YouTube sites

Research Design This is a descriptive method that is use in gathering information and determining the effects of YouTube sites on student behavior. A controversial video will be shown to the respondents and a questionnaire will be provided by the researchers after viewing a controversial video.
Research Respondents The research respondent will consist of 120 HNU male and female college students within the age range of 16 to 23 years old. The respondents will be chosen through random sampling method from a total of population of
Research Environment This study will be conducted within the premises of Holy Name University ( CAS, EDUCATION, ENGINEERING, NURSING) Janssen Heights Campus, Dampas District, Tagbilaran City.
Research Instrument The instruments that will be used in the study are controversial video and a researcher made questionnaire. The questions will be divided into two categories to assess the effects of YouTube sites towards the behavior of the college students. The first category will be consisted of questions referring to the affective state and the second to the cognitive state.

Our study is to make the connection between the most commonly watched video categories and the type of user they are classified as. It was created by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim in February 2005, they had worked together at Pay-Pal (an internet payment method), and received money that the corporation had in surplus to start a new project. YouTube as we know it today is credited to two events. First, one of the co-founders could not find the video containing Janet Jackson’s accidental exposure of her breast at the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. Secondly, two of the cofounders could not share a personal video with each other using e-mail. To sum up, YouTube was created, so that one could easily share videos with one another and furthermore it became a portal where one could find popular and wanted videos without having to surf the internet for hours. After a year, YouTube announced that more than 100 million videos were being watched every day and around 60.000 videos were being added on a daily basis. Then, a group of soldiers examines the fallen bodies. These images were captured high in the Himalayas by a member of a mountaineering expedition who claims to have stumbled upon the killing. The video first aired on Romanian television, but it only gained worldwide attention when it was posted on YouTube, the popular video-sharing Web site. Human rights groups explained that the slain were a group of Tibetan refugees that included monks, women, and children. According to the Chinese government, the soldiers had fired in self-defense after they were attacked by 70 refugees. The posted video seems to render that explanation absurd.
