Toyota, or officially Toyota Motor Corporation, is a car manufacturer based in Toyota City in Japan. The company operates in about 170 countries over the world. The company employs about 320.000 people and has production plants in every continent. This major company is the leader in the automotive industry with a turnover of more than $265 billion in 2012 and with about $4.7 billion of benefits. The major markets of Toyota are Japan, North America, Europe and Asia. The company sells its cars under its name Toyota, but it also owns subsidiaries like Lexus, Scion, Hino Trucks and Daihatsu.
