Complete the Team Building Worksheet by answering the following questions in 200 to 300 words each.

1. Describe team members’ results on the Discovery Wheel and Develop your multiple intelligences exercises. What similarities and differences exist within the team?

After completing the Discovery Wheel activity we found that half of our areas fell under the same section. Our top similar areas were health, purpose and diversity. Our middle areas were thinking and attitude and our bottom area was reading. Our differences were Nicole had memory and money in the top where Natalie had communicating. In the middle Natalie had notes and time and Nicole had tests. Our differences on the bottom Natalie had memory, money and tests and Nicole had communication, time and notes. On develop your multiple intelligences exercise both of our top two intelligences were mathematical/logical and visual/spatial. Having the same top multiple intelligences can be good or bad depending on what we are doing. We both had verbal/linguistic for our bottom area. Natalie’s second choice was naturalist where Nicole’s was intrapersonal. Even though we have similarities and differences we can use our strong areas to help our team achieve our goals and assignments. Team members can learn from each others strengths to help them become stronger in their weaker areas. No matter how similar or different each of us is we can still come together and work as a team and accomplish what needs to be done.

What similarities and differences exist within the team? Within the team we have found that due to our similar back grounds in the military we approach learning in a lot of the same ways. As a group we brain storm and analyze every aspect of the problem to come up with the solution. Although some of us are easier to persuade to one idea to another, all of us require justification in order to allow it to pass the group. Alberto, Marvin, and Mike all use the no non sense approach to problems and class while Tracy tends to look at it more as a 3D more than one way to skin a cat type of out look. It seems that we feed off of one another in a group environment. When one of the team members doesn’t understand the others try to explain it in the easiest way possible. He was deficient in communicating and taking tests. The rest of his results were within 2 or 3 points. What he found most intriguing was with his career, it is imperative to communicate.
